Mazak's Two Latest Machines Feature New Space-Saving Design

Mazak recently added two new models to its VC-Ez Series -- productive, space-saving and affordable machines that are designed for job shops.

The new models are the VC-Ez 16 and VC-Ez 26, and available options include auto tool changer capacities, chip/coolant management solutions and a wide range of spindle configurations.

As with existing VC-Ez machines the two newest models also sport the MAZATROL SmoothEz CNC that simplifies setups and speeds production along with cutting-edge SMOOTH TECHNOLOGY software solutions to handle everything from advanced thermal management to offline programming.

Other features of the VC-Ez series include:

• Rugged 25 hp, 12,000 rpm (standard) or versatile 29.5 hp, 15,000 rpm (optional) spindle



• Highly efficient 30-tool auto tool changer (50-tool option)
• Hybrid MX Roller Guide System improves rigidity, accuracy and reliability.
• Pre-tensioned ball screw system with support at each end
• New space-saving machine design with optional chip management solutions
